In 2004, Yvyra patented their new invisible magnet profile for outdoor decking. The boards profile evolved with a subtle modification and it was created to offer two new benefits:

To cover the understructure of the decking to make it not visible and give the floor a more aesthetic and beautiful appearance, highly appreciated by landscapers and architects.
To avoid the loss of objects in the gaps between the boards and give users the safest and cleanest deck installations. Because there are no gaps between the boards, no shoe heels or table legs will ever get stuck again, making it safe to walk over the deck. In addition, restaurants with outdoor seating will find its cleanliness particularly useful: no food or liquids can fall between the board gaps, thus improving the overall hygiene of the installation.

Product composition

Profiles availables for wood and WPC decking. Wood decking is made of natural, high quality, and FSC^® certified wood, including elondo, bamboo, sucupira, ipe… Synthetic decking, also known as composite or WPC decking, is made of a material highly resistant to stains and scratches.

What makes this so innovative compared to other products in the market?

Only Yvyra produce their wooden and WPC boards for outdoor decking with the invisible magnet profile. This board profile is patented by Yvyra and, therefore, no other producer can make or market it. The two innovations of the invisible magnet profile are invisibility and user safety.

How does the new product compare to the previous one?

2019’s latest version of the invisible magnet profile comes with a small design improvement that allows for an easier and faster installation. It is more solid, has a bigger wearing surface, is more stable and resistant and has longer durability.

Technical aspects (wear, noise, durability)

Technically, the invisible magnet profile presents a small gap of 4mm between boards, which allows for optimal ventilation of the ground under the decking and water drainage for proper preservation of the wood over time. An appropriate ventilation and good water drainage are significant and necessary for a good preservation of the flooring and its durability outdoors, where environmental agents like rain, snow and sun are usual.

Ecological aspects

Yvyra’s wooden deckings are FSC and can be recycled and reused.
